Connection guides

Scanner menus can change with software updates. These steps follow the manufacturers’ current published workflows.

01MyiTero workflow

iTero

Confirm the Nu Gen Smile iTero directory connection with our team before the first case.

1Contact Nu Gen Smile so we can confirm that the lab connection is enabled for your practice.
2Start the restorative case on the iTero scanner and open the laboratory selection step.
3Search for Nu Gen Smile, select the confirmed lab profile, complete the prescription, and send the scan.

About the official iTero lab workflow

02Medit Link Web

Medit

The partnership search must be completed on Medit Link Web by a Clinic Admin.

1Sign in to Medit Link Web with the Clinic Admin account and open Partners.
2Search for Nu Gen Smile by business name and Fullerton address, then send a partnership request.
3If the lab is not listed, choose Invite Partner and send the invitation to info@nugensmile.com.

3Shape TRIOS

The lab must approve the connection request before it becomes available for case delivery.

1In Unite 24.1 or newer, open More, then Store, and choose Labs.
2Select Add connection and search for Nu Gen Smile by name, address, email, or phone.
3Choose the matching lab profile and select Connect. Call us if the request remains pending so we can verify the lab-side setup.

Exported STL or ZIP files

We can review exported digital files.

Call the lab first so we can confirm the secure transfer method for your system. Do not email patient information or clinical scan files through the public contact form.
